Youth Housing Program
This program is for young people, aged between 15-25 years old, who are homeless or insecurely housed.
Through the Youth Housing Program, we help you to:
Obtain an independent income
Sort out any problems with social security benefits
Develop your independent living skills
Talk about and deal with specific problems you may have
Plan for work, school or training programs
To be eligible to become a resident on the Youth Housing Program you must be:
15-25 years old
Single or a single parent
Homeless or insecurely housed
From South Melbourne or Port Melbourne
Unfortunately the need for this type of housing is high.
We keep waiting lists and contact people when rooms become available. We will then meet you to make sure you're prepared for living independently.
